Max is a palliative medicine physician at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center/Norris Cotton Cancer Center as well as a past training in medical oncology. Max is an Associate Dean for CME at the medical school, Director of Interprofessional Continuing Education at the hospital, and Director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Dartmouth. Max is recognized as a Distinguished Faculty for VitalTalk Inc, a national non-profit serious illness conversation interprofessional training program.
