Mary Platek, PhD, RD, is a Registered Dietitian and an Epidemiologist. At D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY she is an Associate Professor of Nutrition and educates and trains the next generation of RDNs. As an Adjunct Professor at Roswell Park Comprehensive Center, she works directly with Oncologists to examine clinical outcomes of cancer treatment within various types of cancer. Her research centers on the prevention and management of cancer-related malnutrition among head and neck cancer patients.
