Dr. Dolores Guest is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Guest completed her PhD in Nutritional Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where she also completed her dietetic internship. Her interest in population based research focusing on cancer patients and survivors began when she was a postdoctoral fellow in a combined program at the U of I and Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine, where she examined the effects of diet and lifestyle on breast cancer survivors. Since joining faculty at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, her work has focused on evaluating provision of and improving access to nutrition care for patients with cancer.
