Rina Patel is a clinical pharmacy specialist in critical care and nutrition support at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where she has served in this role since 2010. She received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 training at the Michael E DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center and PGY2 in critical care/nutrition support at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is involved in ASPEN and the Texas Gulf Chapter, serving on various committees over the past several years. She authored the Parenteral Nutrition Formulations chapter in the most recent edition of the ASPEN Adult Nutrition Support Core Curriculum. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
